SAFETY is an integral component of the primary vision to "Showcase Aspiring Models and Enthusiasts in the Middle Tennessee Area". The most popular web sites where aspiring models can upload their photos and stats are open to the worldwide audience and most often leave out one of the most crucial elements of modeling - the agent - and its just models and photographers. The vision of MidTennModels.com is to offer an alternative, a professional and private web presence that you can use to promote yourself to agents and others in the field. Above all else, safety is promoted every step of the way - that's why your page is private and only available to the people you show it to, and not out there in the open for the public where you might get any number of unsolicited contacts and offers from God knows who (more on that in the "Values" section). Truth be known, most reputable agents have web sites where you can submit your photos, stats and resumes on-line privately, so much like professional photos aren't necessary when first seeking out an agent, neither is a web presence like this. That being said, professional photos never hurt in this situation nor does a professional web presence - which is why this site is available.

Included in the vision is the specific target group of aspiring models and modeling enthusiasts. If you've already "made it", so to speak, and you either have an agent or an independent web site of your own, you're probably beyond need of this site. However, if you've ever entertained the thought or dream of becoming a model but never had an opportunity to do anything about it, you're in the target group. This sight isn't geared to motivate or solicit anyone to pursue modeling as either a full or part-time career, but to help nurture the aspiring model to approach and navigate the idea safely and with a level head.

Not included in the vision are any promises to make you or your teen a star. I've never promised that or even been remotely accused of promising that to anyone, but I have had to bare the brunt of others frustrations from their own opinions and/or experiences. Anyone promising to make you a star if you'll only let me do your headshots is, in all likelihood, more interested in buttering you up so they can transfer as much money from your pocket to theirs. No such promises here.
